Created in 2014, Whetstone is a privately owned, Texas company located in Fort Worth, Texas. After working with operators and landowners for over two decades, Whetstone was formed as a unique brand of energy company. Our services are personal, boutique, specialized and familial.

The Whetstone initiative is simple; listen, act with integrity, and develop strategies to exceed client goals.

Whetstone’s acquisitional focus is primarily within three (3) Texas regions; the Permian Basin, East Texas and the Barnett Shale. Whetstone manages interests across Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Additionally, Whetstone provides evaluation, mineral management, and title research/curative land services. Our team is rooted in land, engineering, and the coordination capital resources.
